How it works
Common questions about posting, quotes, payment, and your account.
How do I post a job?
Type what you need on the home page, or go to Post. You don't need an account — just an email address so providers can send you quotes.
Do I need to sign up first?
No. Posting a job with just your email counts as registering. We create your account automatically behind the scenes.
How do I get back into my job later?
Every email we send you (a new quote, your job going live) has a button that takes you straight back to that job — no login needed. If you'd rather sign in normally, go to Sign in and use Create account with the same email to set a password.
The link in my email expired or isn't working. What now?
Those links are single-use and last 7 days. If yours stopped working, go to Sign in. If you never set a password, use Create account with the same email — that sets one up for you and links it to your existing jobs.
I tried to post a job but got an error about my email already being registered.
That means you already have a password set up for that email — someone can't post a new guest job under an email that's already a real account, to stop anyone hijacking it. Just sign in first, then post your job while logged in.
How do quotes work?
Once your job is live, providers send you quotes with a price and a message. You'll get an email for each one. Compare them and accept whichever works for you — there's no obligation until you do.
How do I pay?
When you accept a quote, you pay a small deposit through Stripe — this is our commission, and it's what secures the job. The rest of the quoted amount is settled directly with the provider once the work is done, however you both agree (cash, bank transfer, etc.) — it doesn't run through us.
Is posting really free?
Yes. Posting a job costs nothing. A commission is added on top of the provider's quote, so what you see is what you pay — never less than what they bid.
